Meet & Greet
J, J Hubb, Joy Hubb, it doesn’t matter how you would prefer to address her, has made her mark on the industry for 9 years now. Starting in culinary school she became a Patisserie Chef who designed custom novelty cakes. Later on deciding to perfect her niche by embarking on the wedding world with her wedding cakes. She says she never looked back.
She’s worked with many event planners as a vendor herself over the years learning the ins and outs of the wedding industry. Because of her professionalism, knowledge, & thorough communication it is no surprise that clients would ask if she provided other services such as event planning and/or decor. She would take on clients as they came and decided last year that it was time to merge cake and planning. “Its something about giving people more than they’ve expected, more than what they could ever visually dream that really gets me going.”
Joy strives to use her passion and talent to not only help her clients but to also help others. Which she does by creating cakes for children with critical illness through a non-profit organization called Icing Smiles. She is an advocate for small business and has consulted with several small businesses to help build the fundamentals of their companies.
Through her career she has created long term relationships with trusted vendors and venues, has made lasting memories with her clients and has gained client friendships to last a lifetime of celebrations.
